Mira here real quick...

 Mira said...

In the words of Shawn, we don’t believe you, you need more people.

I could go on and on about Bin Laden, the story about how they tracked him down via his courier who spoke about Bin Laden with his friend while they were on the phone, the so called sea burial etc. etc., but I'm kind of done with the whole C.I.A. vs. Al-Qaeda subject. I've had too much of it since the fake news broke out on the first of the month.

But let me tell you this; if we really did get Bin Laden, he would've have been hanging from the highest tree for everybody to see, dead or alive. But we did not catch him and that is why there are zero pictures released and all supposedly because they do not want to shock the world and be responsible for any attacks coming from vicious terrorists. After all, killing Bin Laden and releasing proof will do that, but killing thousands of babies and women in Iraq and Afghanistan does not make them angry at all, it only tickles them.

As told by Abu Muar Zarq, Bin Laden was and is always wearing a bomb vest. Any sign of the enemy being close and he would’ve made himself a martyr according to his own views.

And let me also tell you this, Bin Laden is a Wahabi meaning that he practises Wahhabism, he would never live in a villa let alone be caught dead in it. Too bad the ‘’super elite military unit’’ didn’t get any schooling on cultural relativism to figure this one out.

And most of all, on 02-11-2007 Benazir Bhutto, first female prime minister of Pakistan, told David Frost in a interview that Bin Laden was already murdered by the Pakistani militant Ahmed Omar Saeed. On 27-12-2007, she was assassinated.

Miss Monet writes...

This is something we’ve been working on for a really long time. Ive always wanted to learn how to use the audio software on my computer in different ways and this has been such an great learning experience for me, so I’m really excited to share this with my blog friends!
My good friend Nebby thought it would be a great idea to start a talk radio show which in turn evolved into recording real conversations between friends. It has probably been the most honest, open and vulnerable thing I’ve ever did in a while, but I can see how this can turn into something very therapeutic not just for the people leading the conversation but for those listening too. In this episode, nebby discusses with Lissa (me!) the stresses of competition between women and invites a special guest with a message for all the ladies.

Pauleanna Reid

I'm excited to welcome Pauleanna Reid to our team!!
Pauleanna happens to be a very talented friend of mine. I can personally vouch for her work as I sat home many nights sipping hot peppermint tea reading small segments that she surprises me with to my email. She paints vivid images in my mind and let's my imagination run wild while I follow her word for word.
She is a Writer, Author of the Blog Come And Share My World and you might have seen snippets of her work on my bestie's blog What Women Want. Some might find her a lil rated x but I am giving full access and the brightest green light to surprise all of us and write about whatever it is her lil heart desires.

I'll stop yapping and just let her do what she does. I hope you all enjoy :)

Mine

June 29th 2010 was my baby sister's High School graduation. It's pretty obvious to everyone including people that don't know us that we are extremly close. She's my everything. While sitting at her graduation with my mom and my best friend, it hit me.
I remembered the day we brought her home from the hospital in Morocco, the blanket she was wraped around and how she looked. I watched her grow to the beautiful, strong, mature and amazing woman that she is today, I got teary eyed, happy tears of course and I smiled because I am sooooooo proud of her and excited for our journey together in life.
I love you so much!
Your big sis,
Zineb

Chiggy's Toronto

Hey ladies *bats eyelashes*
I'm in a sexy mood because i just got my hair done :)
My BFF shannae gave me the heads up so I had to give it a try and I am beyond impressed.

Given all the hair questions I get from all of you I decided to take pictures of the hair process (very brave of me but I love yous and better late than never) so here you go:

Natural hair washed and blow dried, not straightened (clearly) and excuse the no make up swag

The parting/braiding process, as you can see i get the middle of my head done (partial), i little is left from the bottom (so i can be able to put it up in a pony tail) and the top (to have it fall on top of the braids)

The after result, I used two packs of the virgin straight hair in 22-24 (first time going that long) and don't judge my morning face.

Back view

This is the package the hair comes in.

*ahem* being Moroccan and all I left with some Moroccan oil products (they are the TRUTH!)

Not only is what I paid to get it done nearly half of what I  used to pay, but it's the bomb.com I'm walking around looking like a REAL yet better version of Kim Kardashian (lol you know they get weaved up too).
Chiggy's work with ALL hair types. Even if you have long hair already and you just wanna give it that sexy  long/full victoria secret look, you walk in there get you a couple of rows and you are good to go.

Tell Patience that Zineb sent you for the ultimate hook up! (details at the bottom of the post)

Chiggy's Touch Salon in downtown Toronto. They've been featured on ET Canada and Cosmo TV. The owner, Patience is a very inspirational and successful young woman.

Its $130 to put in a weave, they use the net method that celebs like Gabby U rave about and its the method most commonly used in New York. The "Net Method" allows your weave last longer and it protects your braids from being pulled or damaged underneath!
They work with all hair colours and types (white girls, black girls, asian girls- come one come all!) and they can do everything!

Chiggys is located at 184 Davenport Rd (Lower Level) Toronto and their Phone Number is (416) 619-5477.

They also offer standard hair styling services and in fact, they are best known for doing Curly Hair

Chiggy's will give you 10% off of regular products and services
(They carry everything - Mixed Chicks, Moroccan Oil, you name it!)

They also sell their own Virgin Hair and if you get your weave done at Chiggy's they will give you "Buy one pack, get the second pack for 50%"

Feel free to give Chiggy's a call at 416-619-5477 to book your appointment or visit ChiggyOnline.com. And if downtown is out of the way, they also have a location in Barrie... ask about it!

Thank you Shannae and Chiggy's !!!!!

Marrakech Tent
1328 Danforth Avenue
Toronto, ON
416-466-7171

Marrakech Tent, which was a small cafe/restaurant about a month ago was viewed and snatched up by my mother. She had more in mind for the restaurant than what it already had going on, she took it upon herself to renovate and re-launch the whole project. She's in charge of the cooking and also training a couple of ladies to help in the kitchen. Words can't even describe how proud I am of her. This is just the beginning.
For some great authentic Moroccan food in Toronto, come check out Marrakech Tent. It's a cozy little restaurant right off of Danforth and Greenwood. The service is amazing, the food is delicious and definitely affordable $$

Tell them Zineb and Kenza sent you for a special discount ;)
