"LOOK.AT.ME" is a multi-dimensional show that will be shown

inside the Enwave Theatre for the run of 'da Kink in my Hair,

including the opening night. This off-stage production features

works from a wide range of artists that come together to

produce a powerful collaboration of stories.

Exploring through a variety of art mediums, each piece is to delve

into the survivals, the evolutions, the souls, the depths, the

inspirations, the love, the struggles, and the triumphs of

a Black Woman.

This is something we’ve been working on for a really long time. Ive always wanted to learn how to use the audio software on my computer in different ways and this has been such an great learning experience for me, so I’m really excited to share this with my blog friends!

My good friend Nebby thought it would be a great idea to start a talk radio show which in turn evolved into recording real conversations between friends. It has probably been the most honest, open and vulnerable thing I’ve ever did in a while, but I can see how this can turn into something very therapeutic not just for the people leading the conversation but for those listening too. In this episode, nebby discusses with Lissa (me!) the stresses of competition between women and invites a special guest with a message for all the ladies.

We flight high, no lie and you knooooow thiiiiissss....

BOWLINNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGG (image tiefed from nat) Last night we went bowling @ Lucky Strike in Vaughan Mills (SO FAR AWAY) because i guess the week prior they did a lil hood bowling and poor coco's window got smashed SMH. Bowling was good our team, pictured above lost by 2 points :) against the other team, but we still had fun. Next week we should def. go to the boro location because its 24 hrs and its sooooo much better. After bowling i called my school friends to see what they were up to and they told me that they were celebrating end of finals at some pub downtown, now i haven't been to a pub since like senior year in high school, boston days. so i said whyyyy noooooooot. Turned out SO FUN!!! except for the part where i had to take care of my friend Chris and stop on the dvp every 2 min. so he can puke :( ANYHOOT i feel like i have been treating this blog like a step child, scratch that i actually hate when ppl say that because i wouldnt treat a step child any kind of way, so what i meant to say is i feel like i been on neglectarus (yes i make up words so what?) with this blog so FORGIVE ME. i have been busy busy busy with moving. Do you know how hard it is to buy furniture, set up delivery dates, assembly dates, open an account with hydro canada, see what kind of bundle promotions rogers has and make sure everything goes smoothly?! its HARD it's going to be my FIRST time living on my own, i did the roomie thing but i this time i want it to be me against the world, so wish me luck. I wont be moving out the country or back to Boston...just yet, i'll be close but yet a lil farther away. Tonight i will be CLUB HOPPING, yeaaa i said it lol i have never done that so wish me luck with that too lol some sexy ladies and i are aware that the weather is be auuuu tiful today and theres so many things happening in the city we wanna have a lil piece of all of em so we thought HEY! why not hop scotch around from partay to partay?! brilliant idea. Just got in from the Theaters...

I finally got a chance to go see Changling... I'm not going to bore you with a long winded review or get into how official Angelina Jolie was... but I will say it's nothing short of a masterpiece and the best movie I'v seen in theaters this year...

go check it out well worth your time and money..

Challenge

I (along with Norm and Priscilla) would like to propose a challenge to my fellow blog members Andrew and Kenza. It's called the "Bet you can't do it like me Xmas edition". .$20 Dollar limit nothing more nothing less (without tax) .Receipt to support amount spent (to avoid cheating you cheaters) .Presents will be posted on blog for our readers to pick winner (the most creative/bestest present wins) :) That simple. Bring your A+ Game Bitches PS: you guys should do this with your friends too it's fun and takes the pressure off buying each other expensive non fun things. I would love to see what ppl come up with!

Your arms too short to box with god

I'm sure alot of you had a mini net hangin on the back of your bedroom door growing up (I did)... member all the fun you had? until your brother/sister/cuzzin/neighbour/hatin ass kid for down the street broke your net... anyway Multiply the amount of fun you had by a Thousand because this is like having that same mini net 9.5 feet in the air.... so yeah...I'm now accepting new challengers for a Holiday Dunk off... we've done this a few times before and always had madd funn... if i get enough people that really wanna do this we'll make it a small event .. if not just come to the store while im working an say "you ready to dunk old man?" we'll thro down a few dunks I'll win and you'll contemplate why you left your house to get embarrassed in front of your girl... see you Saturday?
