I'm actually surprised that people are so shocked by this. Is it the fact that he looks so young? The fact that all the parties involved are caucasian? A combination of the two? I knew a girl who had a baby at 11. When I was in 7th grade (QUITE a few years ago), there were several girls in my class who were sexually active. My cousin and his girlfriend (now wife) had their first child when they were 14 and 13, respectively. This isn't a new phenomenon, to be sure. It is sad and extremely upsetting, especially given the lack of realism that kids have regarding sex and all its consequences, but it's hardly new.
