Market Research -- There’s an app for that..

I followed along Yesterday afternoon as Steve Jobs descended from the heavens carrying the new Apple iPad -- the product is hardly revolutionary but the big miss for the apple team is in the product name – you would think in company full of geniuses some one would have cautioned against releasing a product called "iPad".. I guess no one at Apple HQ watches Mad TV... Andy, someone on apple's marketing team just lost their job..

They have an article on CNN that was talking about how ipad was #1 topic on twitter and itampon was #2 lmao did they NOT have women on heir marketing team ?!

Ok so, firstly, who wears pads? It didn't even cross my mind! I guess they didn't think much of it cause the younger generation uses tampons, instead, I even know people that have gotten those shots to not get their periods anymore. I wouldn't have thought it would be a big deal, and since when is publicity a bad thing? no one like to talk about periods, I know, but I'm sure it didn't hurt sales.

Agreed it probably wont hurt sales at all… an your right we've been told "any publicity is good publicity" .. But really apple -- the best you could come up with was "iPad".. (c'mon son)
