Ok so the reason i have been soooo occupied is because i have been battling Swine Flu. let me stop, sorry. lol I actually moved, and i moved to my own spot, it's my first time living alone and I'm still trying to get used to it. Moving is sooo hard/stressful/time consuming but the view i get to look at at night and in the AM is soooo beautiful it makes it all worth it :) I'm just so anxious to see everything put together and finalized. Ok so i have a second bedroom and i don't know what to do with it? any suggestions? i was thinking a sofa that could be used as a pull out couch for when my friends come from out of town and like a desk or something?? someone people said game room...I'm 23 i dont need a game room. suggestions por favor :( where's the easy button when you need it. PS: once the place looks decent I'll share some pix with you. xoxo Neb

If your closet isn't big enough...turn that room into your closet! Put a vanity in there...some mirrors and when you go out you and your girls can go in there and try stuff on...dance..and get pretty :)

pull out sofa/office combo sounds good. That way the room is multi-functional and not wasted space. You can even use it as the room you veg out in. Don't use your bedroom as your relaxation space. Bedrooms should be for sleeping and ::ahem:: "other activities". You may feel a little lonely now, but as my mother always says "it takes 21 days to become acclimated to a home". When you think of it in those terms, you'll be all settled in no time. Congrats on your new place! Enjoy!

you could always rent out that room to someone that you trust.. that way you're not alone and you'd be making extra $$

but i like Janine's idea too

All these are great things to make the room right, but you purposely moved out of living with someone so you're not into that right now I'd think. If you made it a "get ready room" that'd be ridiculously awesome, but not very conventional... unless you're like Hannah Montana and operating under some super model guise, in which case sorry for blowing your cover lol.

but the sofa and/or pullout bed and the desk sounds about right I'd say... depends on your lifestyle right, it could be a gym even or whatever you're into, it should be conventional though.

Like the 3rd post said make tht into another closet(a woman can never have enough space for clothes and shoes :))...put a mini bar so you can sip on some wine while you chill. Make it your relaxation room or even the office. Lol too many ideas at once I'm suggesting I think?

i just moved too and have two rooms to work with.. back home with my mom :) so i used one for my bedroom and the other for my "office and recreation space" i just got my couch so far, need a desk. i used the closet for my dresses and dress shoes as well as all my film/etc equip. i agree with the third anon. comment though but it would be good space for guests!

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE IDEAS!!

the room is not sooo big that i can actually make an extra colest space/getting ready area for even tho that would be soooo sick. SO what i'm gonna do is put the couch that can be a pull out bed with a mini "office and recreation space" ;)

CONGRATS!!!!! :) I'm not sure what you should do with the room though. What's your passion? Maybe you should dedicate that room to that or a guest room.
