I always come across those "Designer" shoes/bags websites...
My question to you is: Would you cop the knockoff??
If yes: When someone asks where you got it at would you tell the truth? or would you say Holt's lol
If No: Why not??
I have never got anything knockoff because I don't really see the point and back in the day i used to always be kinda shook that someone that gets the real thing can tell my shit is fake so i never fuked with it, I believe that if you can't afford it don't even go there.

No, I would never cop the knockoff. My aunt and I were just dsicussing this today. I bought a Coach bag for about $279 and my aunt was like with that money I can buy myself five Coach bags in NY. But to me it seems like when people buy knockoffs it's cause they want other people think they buy brand name shit, but instead you just look tacky and corny. You can buy yourself an good quality purse that does not have to be name brand, for way cheaper, so if money's an issue, why risk looking like an idiot. Just get yourself a good purse within your price range and call it a day.
REAL DEAL!
Your pink LV, how much was it?
I agree with you Nebby, I don't see the point in buying the fake stuff either. If you can't afford it then leave it alone. Everybody wants to show everybody else how much of a "baller" they are.
Plus I'm gonna take a stab into the dark and say that the material of of poorer quality so the knockoff is gonna last you long.
i see those louboutin mall ads all over blogs and they drive me CRAZY! i wouldn't buy fakes mainly because i think it's just wrong AND you can often tell fakes. i love playing that game...spot the fake LV. also the fake designer gear market is often linked to violent crime and other not so great activity so i'd rather just save my pennies and buy the real stuff.
...guilty
Nebb, the fashionista that you are...i wud be afraid to wear a knockoff around you*
to be completly honest..i dont think i can spot the fake from the real UNLESS its sooo obvious like Cucci or Louis Vuitonne which is why i never messed w it in the first place :I
Knock offs are often made in sweat shop situations. I used to work at Tiffany's and I can always tell who has a fake and who doesn't. It's not a bad thing if you can't afford the real thing. It will feel that much more special when you can. So if everyone else knowing it was fake isn't enough, think of who's making it.
that's very true! well said!
