Get your umbrellas out because, that's when I brainstorm

quoted from Public Service announcement - jay z (edited by andy) "Fellow Americans, it is with the utmost pride and sincerity that I present this Blackberry, as a living testament and recollection of history in the making during our generation." Just got back from lunch with a friend from RIM (who shall remain nameless). We did our regular Technology break down like always - we struggle to talk about anything that's not technology related ..im starting to believe its the only thing we have in common. Anyways.. If you live in the U.S i'm sure you've seen the ad's and heard the all the commotion but in case you didn't Nov 21st RIM & Verizon released this piece of technological history to the U.S market.. Generally I tend to follow the rule: "thall shall not believe the hype" But this situation was a bit different..I was fortunate enough to demo a pre-production (beta) version of this unit for the past few weeks... needless to say now i co-sign for the hype... im not even going to get into how official this device is... Go check it out for yourself.. Canadian Release date is - ?? Peace Andy

I have it beside me right now (from Canada btw...mom works at RIM) and its an alright device. If you're big on texting it can get annoying. I think the Curve is still one of the best devices they've come out with and next Spring they are dropping the next generation Curve called the Javoline...can't wait for that!

Even for texting i found it wasn't too bad... took me about 5 days to get used to the set up. I agree with you when you say "the Curve is still one fo the best devices they've come out with"

Javoline should be impressive to say the least...
