Toronto - A humidex advisory remains in effect for Toronto and the GTA. The city of Toronto has declared a heat alert, asking people to check on relatives, friends and neighbours who are especially vulnerable to heat-related illness.
The heat will stay for two more days.
680News meteorologist Jill Taylor says Sunday and Monday will feel especially muggy.
In the meantime, health officials are urging people with respiratory problems to take it easy outside until the humidity lets up.
