The Pride of Canada lands in NYC

Today Tim Hortons opened nine shops in New York’s Manhattan and two in Brooklyn. It's really going to be feast or famine (pun intended) for the Canadian kid (Tim hortons) going head to head with NYC coffee juggernauts Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. New York consumers have proven to be quite brand loyal when it comes to coffee and donuts but if the products or prices are appealing consumers might be willing to make the switch.. should be interesting to see how this plays out - andy andy, click here for maps of the new NYC locations

lemme tell you something about new yorkers, we just like the sound of "Starbucks" rolling off of our tongues. Starbucks is a fashion statement. Everyone wants to walk around with that fancy little plastic cup so they can be like the olsen twins and shit haha

p.s. dunkin donuts = gross!

i hate timmys... like really.

firstly i have to have decaf and the fucktards that work at tim hortons think i wont know the difference, but caffeine in coffee makes me sick literally so yeah. secondly, i like cold drinks and their cold coffees don't have a decaf option.

I don't know what I'd do without Starbucks' Iced, Decaf, Skinny, Vanilla Latte... it's worth the whole 4.60something it costs.

also, what is with the congregations at timmies???? what is it that people are really doing in the parking lots??? uptown (Richmond Hill) I've even seen girls dressed up, hanging in the parking lot at timmies dancing in empty parking spots to their blaring Civic stereo, and guys (like 8-10 of them in a group) with their bikes just 'hanging'... I'm one confused city kid up here lol...
