A slingshot (also sometimes called a catapult, shanghai, or katty), is a small hand-powered projectile weapon.

I just had a quick childhood flashback, me and my cousins used to make slingshots when we were lil and i always made the best ones! my secret was the rubber part i used to steal my grandpa's shoes and cut the sole from the bottom to use as the base where the little rocks would go- sad to say we used the sling shots to kill birds =/
