I might be the only person on the planet that will admit to actually watching 'the Antique Roadshow' from time to time (lame I know)... its not something I watch religiously.. but if it's on and I have a time to kill I don't mind watching people twice my age get appraisal for things that I would easily miss at any garage sale...

garbage strike (?)

i haven't been paying much attention to the news but from what i gather... something happened (or didnt happen) a group of people caught feelings.. an decided to go on strike and now no ones picking up the garbage...(feel free to school me if you know exactly whats been going on with this) andy, tax payers dollars go towards these services and we don't get a refund or a lower rate when your on strike.. (msg to whoever can fix this but hasn't yet) figure out a solution and stop waisting tax dollars while garbage piles up... -- let's not forget the longer this goes on the more garbage will need to be picked up when the strike's over (classic lose lose situation)

killed sometime on my lunch break with a few co-workers at the Mastermind warehouse sale (Mastermind is just a kids Toy store in Canada)- my co-workers all have kids so they took full advantage of the low prices and did all their christmas, birthday, hanukkah and good report card shopping.. i dont' have any kids to shop for so I ended up taking photo's from my phone... ..lately it feels like everywhere I turn everything's on sale.. the truth is no one is spared from the wrath of a poor economy. When the buying slows many retailers become overstocked with product(s), supply then eclipses demand. Naturally prices will drop in attempt to encourage sell through and balance the scales. It's truly a buyers Paradise if you can afford to spend... anyway on to a lighter subject these photo's..

Woke up this morning an had a song on my mind: Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz - Deja Vu.. my mind started wandering - when did that single come out again? how old was i? what was i doing again? the single came out in 1997 and the album was called "Make it Reign" and Because memories are terrible things to waist lets take it back to ninety seven: well..i was in grade school (6th grade) doublein shortys home on my two wheeler.. a problem for all teachers - the kid teachers loved to hate cuz i wouldn't shut up but they couldn't stay madd at me class clown type shit(substitute teachers nightmare)... kid involved in all school sports.. cuz that was the best way to get out to others schools an let them know wat's up.. didn't have a pager or a cellphone but had a black book where i stored all my numbers... had a e-mail but had no one to e-mail..Field trips were the shit... heavy on the Nintendo.. lunch bag with two grape juice boxes... tear-aways were in season(member those pants with buttons all down the side.?).. a pair of jordans was def not in the budget... i can't remember if i had a Sony CD Walkman or a Sony cassette Walkman ?...first year of sex ed.. an the bluejays still played at the skydome not the rogers center... without further adu - the song that started all this reminiscing andy,still can't figure out why this song was on my mind this morning tho... o well this shit is classic

(Quick post cuz I’m kinda busy ri now .. ) I just spoke with a friend who was venting about her situation (now ... im really not one to help/get involved with gf/bf situations but i figured i would listen... sometimes people just need someone to listen.. anyway) seems she believes the reason her an her boyfriend arent’ always seeing eye to eye on things is cuz an i quote "our signs completely clash"........ (??are you fo’real??).. now im not gonna call her an idiot because she far from that.. shes quite the intellect to be honest. but I thought we left this signs an horoscope BS behind in grade school.. are ya’ll still with this ri now?? I know a few people … mostly women are heavy in this Horoscope game… question for any one that reads this… do you really believe in horoscopes and compatibility of “signs”?… (not here to judge just wanna know if this is real to you) Personally I have never paid attention to any of that.. I lost interest immediately cuz horoscopes are never factual its always vague statements that provide little direction... uses words or phrases like “this may happened if you play your cards right” “ this could be your lucky day“ .. an im reading this thinking .. .any day could be my lucky day (ri?)..
