Relationships: How to find the right kind of love ...
This video doesn't need much of an explanation. However, if you take one thing away from this post, it should be: to pursue relationships of substance. I've witnessed the trend of most women jumping into relations with men because of their "window dressings" and they often wonder why the courtship didn't last longer than a few days or weeks! Ladies it's not rocket science. A relationship is a marathon not a sprint- it takes time to build a real connection with someone. So whenever you see a man who is drop dead sexy, rocks the flyest shit and has money to blow, ask him, what else he can bring to the table.
Thanks for showing so much love on my last post, I'll keep the goodness coming.
Enjoy!!

Pauleanna Reid
I'm excited to welcome Pauleanna Reid to our team!!
Pauleanna happens to be a very talented friend of mine. I can personally vouch for her work as I sat home many nights sipping hot peppermint tea reading small segments that she surprises me with to my email. She paints vivid images in my mind and let's my imagination run wild while I follow her word for word.
She is a Writer, Author of the Blog Come And Share My World and you might have seen snippets of her work on my bestie's blog What Women Want. Some might find her a lil rated x but I am giving full access and the brightest green light to surprise all of us and write about whatever it is her lil heart desires.
I'll stop yapping and just let her do what she does. I hope you all enjoy :)

Influencers
INFLUENCERS FULL VERSION from R+I creative on Vimeo.
a few of my thoughts (..even though you never asked for them)
- Influencers share similar characteristics as "visionaries" (a person of unusually keen foresight).
- It's consistency that separates influencers from "mainstreamers", their ability to always be ahead of the curve (in technology), or always have a great live performance (in music), or always introduce new concepts (in fashion) is what gains a person respect and following in the first place. (you can't be an influencer without an audience)
- Regardless of your industry if your talented, trusted/respected you will get the attention of others. Pair that with a consistent message (or look or action or attitude) and that's where influence is born.
- Here's the formula the way I see it [attention, trust and respect from your audience + consistent message (or look or action or attitude) your audience can relate to & adopt = Influencer] the greater the audience, the greater the influence, the greater the impact.
- factors of influence is the real variable because it comes down to this influence can grow from anyone, anything, anytime, anywhere. "Influence is all relative".
Hard work pays off

Couple gives away $11.2M in lottery winnings
LOWER TRURO, N.S.—A Nova Scotia couple won $11.2 million from a lottery ticket in July and now every penny is gone. But Allen and Violet Large of Lower Truro didn’t spend any of it on themselves. They say they decided to take care of family, organizations and institutions instead. “What you’ve never had, you never miss,” said Violet, 78. Married since 1974, the couple does not live large. They don’t travel, they don’t gamble and they don’t buy what they don’t need. “We have an old house, but we’re comfortable and we’re happy in it,” Violet said. They spent 30 years in Ontario where Allen was a steel welder and Violet worked for cosmetics and chocolate companies. They retired in 1983 and returned to Nova Scotia. “We were pretty well set, not millionaires, but comfortable,” said Allen, 75. So when they hit it big in Lotto 6-49’s July 14 draw, they decided to give it all away. All that money “was a big headache,” Allen said. Violet said she was concerned about “crooked people” who might try to take advantage of them. But the big win came at a difficult time in their lives: Violet was undergoing treatment for cancer that doctors discovered in the spring. “That money that we won was nothing,” said Allen, choking back tears. “We have each other.” Violet has been through surgery and finished her last chemotherapy treatment a week ago. After the win, the couple took about a week to work out the details before embarking on their $11,255,272 spending spree. It's either they are truly amazing or just crazy...
They took care of family first and then began delivering donations to the two pages’ worth of groups they had decided on, including the local fire department, churches, cemeteries, the Red Cross, the Salvation Army, hospitals in Truro and Halifax, where Violet underwent her cancer treatment, and organizations that fight cancer, Alzheimer’s and diabetes. The list goes on and on. The couple won’t say how much they gave each group, but they’ve received plenty of phone calls, letters and plaques of gratitude. While they’re thankful for each one, they didn’t do it for the recognition. “It made us feel good,” said Violet. “And there’s so much good being done with that money.” She and her husband said they feel privileged to be able to give back to the community, to help the firefighters, the doctors and nurses and the volunteers who have helped them.
“We’re the lucky ones,” Violet said. “I have no complaints.”
