if you ask me - im ready.

Initially I had a hard time trying to find out how this would fit in with my lifestyle but it's been the perfect fit so far...

.. depending on my mood it keeps me productive or entertained when im on the go. The available apps are phenomenal, the screen impressive and typing is a breeze. It's thin, light and allows me to leave my laptop at home and navigate threw web pages, e-mails and apps on a whim. The 9" screen is ample realestate to view/edit pictures, videos and text documents not to mention capitalizes on the interactive experience that Apple is famous for.

Now the cons: A camera would be nice- but it's not a deal breaker for me. (im sure future generations will have a camera anyway..) The biggest draw back so far has been the missing USB port.. essentially I've lost the freedom/ability to import or export anything (my music, videos, pictures, documents) without using iTunes. Extremely inconvenient.

..Granted it's not going to be a great solution for everyone -- If your on the fence like I was I say exercise the "return policy". Buy it, use it and if it's not for you then return it. it's really the only advice I can share if your at all interested in an iPad.

get it.. customize it to your liking.. and if it's still not something that simplifies your lifestyle take it back. simple as that. (always nice to have an unintentional rhyme close out a post.)

Mother knows best

I know it might sound so cliché and you have been there heard that but it’s so true.
I can recall from when I was younger and my mom told me “…I don’t care what you did/do, you could of killed someone and I will be the one to protect you“ before you jump to some kind of assumption she was condoning murder she was just giving worst case scenario and letting it be known she would NEVER judge me.

Sometimes I feel like she knows me better than I know myself, she’s an amazing person, strong and an incredible mother, of  course we get into pitty fights but i still hope one day I can be just half as good of a mother to my children as she has been to me and my sister.

Girl Friends For Life

I have never been the type to BFF girls, not by choice but just the way I grew up. I was raised by a lot of my uncles, and played with my boy cousins, unfortunately that wasn't by choice either, the girl cousins would NEVER let me play with them to the point where I would actually cry and beg them to at least let me sit and watch them play lol. I grew accustomed to the boys that I actually adapted thinking and sadly even behaving like one sometimes, don't get me wrong I still had my female traits because my mama forced me to act like a lady at home.


I noticed as I was growing up that I have developed a pattern where I would be friends with females, a little bit down the road we would just fall out, no explanations, no confrontations and to be honest with you...I could care less, I'm sure if you ask for their side of the story I of course would be at fault, again...I could care less.

As time went by I grew up to man up to my mistakes, apologize when I'm wrong and fight for friendships that mean a lot to me. Look at it this way, if the flow changes between me and you and I don't reach out to know what is going on that would be because I could give 2 shits bitch :) it’s been a pleasure; you can proceed with your "life".

This is no way shape or form low blows to any females I was cool with and are no longer cool with, this just came from the actuality that I’m growing closer and closer to a girl friend of mine. We fight like relatives, she keeps it 200 with me, I’m there for her, and she’s there for me. When I'm in the wrong I’m the first to apologize (few days later give or take lol) and if she's in the wrong, it's the same thing.

I recently said to her that I hate fighting with her and she went on to explain that real friends fight, they make up and become closer, fake friends … don't do that.

Happy Bday Ashley!

My beautiful, talented, amazing, kind, loving Ashley is celebrating her B-day soon :) She is my spiritual soulmate. We were discussing Bday plans and I mentioned to her how I will take the mic at her party and yell funny shit all night and we came up witht a joke to add "Hosted by Amber Rose Nebby" we laughed about it and she kinda sorta actually did it!!

Now i dunno what i have to be doing as a host so i'm just gonna do nothing lol come celebrate with us she's good peoples!!!

She's mine

I don't normally put her on blast like this buuuuuuuuuuuut I feel like it :D G (Miss Boss to you) and I have been friends for a lil over 2 yrs now, I met her back when i was a newbie to Toronto when we both used to rock Skinny jeans and Dunks ( we still do sometimes ) I call her my vault (she locks down everything i tell her) my I told you so (shes steady telling me I TOLD YOU!) and my secret friend because not a lot of people know how close we are (until now). Her and I have two different lives, we're not attached by the hip, she has her own friends, I have my own friends, we'll do the same thing once in a while , we can go on for not talking for a month from being so busy and when we sit down to catch up we can talk for 9-12 hrs (no word of a lie) I ♥ her and she ♥ me back . LOVE YOU G!

Chicken & 40s

This past Friday I put together a lil something something for Lissa's b-day, I called it Chicken and 40s , I invited everyone and EVERYONE showed up! It was great, I got the meat booked us the patio area, coco got the cake ppl brought their drinks, the whole vibe was amazing. I saw ppl i haven't seen in a while, all in all everyone had a GREAT time!! we should def. do it again. Will captured all the love in one take.... Yes: I was drunk in the elevator Yes: I was free styling Yes: I was doing the old school dance Yes: I touched the unknown man's ass when he got in the elevator With that said, thank you to everyone for coming and a BIG THANK YOU TO MISS BOSS/KENZA for looking out for me MUAH! oh and will...ur welcome for the hat.
